THE COCONUT BEETLE

coconut beetle is to feed an animal that depends on the environment where they are, their food is varied. They can eat fresh plant leaf tissue, tubers, etc. On the other hand, there are other species for their livelihoods eat excrement.
A curious fact is that this animal can be in any habitat, but rarely in wet places. Only a few are able to fly, it's not because their wings are not well developed and have the ability to fly.
In my perspective and from what I see from this animal, its mood is normal, because you always can see moved. In short, the beetle has a unique life.
This animal has the honor of being the strongest insect in the world because you can load on your back more than he weighs. Dig tunnels when they go to mate, and if two males triggers a fight to try to push it to lock out.
Something amazing and no words is that some females are raped, and they have sought ways to defend against the males and rotten teeth ridges on its back. As the male tries to do his thing, the female and he fought, in the end she is exhausted and the abused.

THE HEN

November 3rd day was done our excursion pedagogical where we had the opportunity to appreciate the environment, fauna and flora of our region, we saw many animals which are cared for by the people who live in those places, including the hen chose because I think it is a bird that many people know but in realities we must know about it deeper. This bird is not flying because their wings are poorly developed, are diurnal, they are active is strictly for the day. We can find them on farms and in the backyards of our homes. Alive can last 3 to 4 years for this they need good nutrition and excellent care. It is the largest farm animal raised in the world because it benefits the owners' reproduction by acting as eggs and meat for human consumption. They eat worms, insects, snails, grains and vegetables.
Sometimes we think that this animal is disgusting, I would advise that if you see or what we have in our homes to give them excellent care and good feeding and animal think that this gives us a good return men.

THE RHINOCEROS BEETLE.

In the educational outing we had on the 3rd of November I saw 10.11.2010 diversity of fauna and flora that characterizes our Caribbean region. The places we visited was different from the others for their exotic animals but that caught my attention was a beetle commonly called "coconut" but is really called rhinoceros beetle.
This beetle feeds on dead branches of the palms of buritaca hence its nickname "coconut", but found most of the time on the ground looking for other residues in addition to the palms. I am a lucky person to have the opportunity to see it because these animals are nocturnal ie feed exclusively at night. As a nocturnal animal's mood is unenthusiastic walk slow and cautiously.
The most surprising thing of this animal is its large size though it is a beetle. When larvae feed on all sorts of waste whereas as adults are more selective. For example, I saw an adult because it is winter and they come out at this time. Unfortunately these friendly creatures live only two to four years for this reason we should respect his life and try not to hurt them because after all are creatures that God created.
